Van Belle Nursery began as a family business in 1973 with just 10 acres of bare fields and a dream. Bill and Grace Van Belle started out with the idea of growing for the Ontario market, and grew that idea into a thriving wholesale nursery with customers all across North America. We believe that our people create our success. The greatest plants in the world won’t sell themselves – we work hard to forge a team of people who bring their very best each day to make Van Belle a great place to work, and a great place to do business.

Even though we can’t list every single employee on this site, we know that each and every day our company moves forward because of the dedicated team we’ve built. Van Belle’s management team aims to be available and approachable, and you’ll often find them out in the nursery dealing with issues and working with employees to come up with collaborative solutions.

2. Anita and Tina, who work together to ensure everyone coming to Van Belle has a great first impression. Anita spends most of her time managing our employees, including our guest worker program, and during spring she assists with shipping coordination. Tina is the friendly voice on the phone who also makes sure all of our paperwork for shipping is perfect.
3. Juanita and Amy not only handle the money, they take the cake! Here they are with the amazing creation they made for our staff BBQ in 2011. Juanita looks after Payroll and Amy manages Accounts Payable.
4. Nathan, Tim and Patrick on a rare outing away from their computers! Our IT team works hard to bring awesome new tech to our daily routines here at the nursery.

They are joined by Bill Van Belle, Chief Mentor, Grace Van Belle, Office Manager, Rebecca Gebeshuber, Sales and Marketing Coordinator, our Youngplants and Finished Containers teams, and many others with top-notch skills and attitudes.
