D’Arcy Poole is a prairie boy, born and raised in Winnipeg, MB. He is a graduate of Red River Community College with a diploma in Business. D’Arcy joined Van Belle Nursery in February 2002 after working many years in the finance industry.

The horticulture business is a great fit for D’Arcy. His passion for greenhouse growing combined with his sales background gives him solid tools for servicing current customers and developing new business opportunities.

D’Arcy is also involved in new program development for our retail customers, and he is excited about working hard to bring  plants with superior genetics and cool features to gardeners all over Western Canada.

My favorite VBN plant is “Little Lime” Hydrangea from PW. A dwarf version of “Limelight”, it has all the same great qualities and really shines in smaller spaces.
