Van Belle Nursery Finished Plants is located in beautiful Abbotsford British Columbia where the scenery is beyond beautiful. At this location we are the leading grower of ornamental plants for major Canadian mass market retailers.

What You’ll Do:
As a vital part of our growing team, you’ll:
🌱 Lead Crews: Supervise teams, manage tasks, and monitor performance to ensure our plants thrive and our people are motivated.
🌱 Grow Quality Crops: Assist growers with irrigation, fertilization, pest scouting, and maintaining top-quality plants through timely spacing, pruning, and care.
🌱 Support Operations: Step in to assist our shipping department during the bustling spring season (April–June).
Key Responsibilities are:
- Implement and oversee growing protocols alongside the grower.
- Conduct trials to improve crops and identify issues, ensuring timely reporting and solutions.
- Monitor and measure EC-PH, and take soil and water samples.
- Lead by example with a hands-on approach, maintaining high safety and productivity standards.
- Collaborate in daily huddles, grower meetings, and seasonal reviews.
Work Location:
34819 Harris Rd. Abbotsford, BC V3G 1R7, reliable transportation required as this is not on a bus route.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- A passion for plants and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to adapt and collaborate across departments.
- Education in Horticulture or Agriculture
- Driver’s License
- Pesticide Applicator Certificate an asset
- Ability to speak Spanish an asset

Permanent Full-time
Wages:
$24-30/hr
