Van Belle Nursery is seeking an experienced, purpose-driven YoungPlants Vice President to oversee the profitable and healthy growth of our YoungPlants division. What You’ll Do:

As the Youngplants Vice President, you will:

• Lead the strategic and financial success of the YoungPlants division
• Build and nurture a high-performance team culture rooted in our core values
• Drive operational excellence through systems, planning, and accountability
• Develop and execute 1-year and 5-year business strategies
• Partner with senior leadership to shape the future of the organization

You are responsible for creating alignment, empowering your team, eliminating “tribal knowledge,” and making decisions that benefit the entire enterprise—not just one unit. You’ll be on the frontlines of our business growth, with clear targets and the tools to reach them.

Your Key Goals:

• Culture: Foster an engaging and people-first environment—we aim to be known as one of the best places to work
• Leadership: Provide servant leadership while mentoring and growing leaders across the division
• Strategy: Lead High Involvement Planning (HIP), ensuring plans are implemented and results are achieved
• Sales & Customer Focus: Champion systems that enhance customer experience and empower sales success
• Financial Performance: Own full financial accountability—achieve annual income targets, manage CapEx, and maintain a 3-year rolling forecast

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

• Has 10+ years of experience managing large teams (50+ people)
• Has been responsible for full financial statements and profit targets for 5+ years
• Understands customer needs and integrates that understanding into operations
• Communicates clearly, leads proactively, and embraces collaboration
• Is aligned with our Core Values and the Great Game of Business (GGOB)
• Has a Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Is excited to lead daily, weekly, and seasonal rhythms that drive accountability and results
